We’re in the double digits!
Our sweet little baby will be here in 94 days (hopefully a little sooner ha)!
I was born 3 days after my due date, and Jaime was born 2 weeks after his. Yes, you read that right, 2 whole weeks. Do they even let that happen anymore?! I am hoping for like 38 weeks haha. We are ready to meet our little nugget <3
How Far Along?
26.5 Weeks
How big is baby:
Baby is the size of a head of lettuce! Every week when we go grocery shopping I always try and find the food and hold it up to my belly haha.
14.02 Inches long & 1.68 Pounds <3
Movement:
Feeling movement all day long now and loving every second. I love getting to watch my belly move now too!
Feeling:
Occasional heartburn and just overall starting to feel more uncomfortable! Still sleeping really well though and taking lots of naps haha.
Nursery Update:
We are still waiting on the delivery of the dresser but my tracking says it should be here by tomorrow! I am excited to start organizing everything and getting it all ready!
Working Out:
Before I was pregnant, I convinced myself I was going to do some type of workout everyday.
Oh how I was wrong.
I have always been pretty active but have never been super committed to the gym. I go in streaks of working out everyday to not working out for a month. I’m not sure why I thought being pregnant would magically make me motivated to work out more. Talk about 0 motivation!
The first trimester I was pretty good about working out since it was during the 3 months we actually have nice weather in Wisconsin and I could go for a run or walk outside! I will forever wish my husband wasn’t in love with this state – I’d be in a warmer state in a heart beat! I still try and convince him all the time even though I know there is no chance of it happening haha.
About a month ago now I was doing a workout at home (I’m not even sure you can call it a workout though because I was barely even moving haha) and ended up pulling a pelvic muscle. I didn’t even know you could do that. I didn’t know at first that was what happened but I was in a lot of pain doing things like walking or getting dressed so it was a stressful couple weeks with a lot of tears. First time mom over here but I was so worried something was wrong with our little babe even though I was still feeling movement and kicks. P.S. google doesn’t help ha. My doctor happened to be out of town the week I went in (after a couple phone calls to the nurse) and I was not a big fan of the doctor I saw. He pretty much just told me everything I was feeling was normal. Well that wasn’t an acceptable answer in my book, so I went and saw my normal doctor (who is the best) and she actually figured out why I was in pain. I am gradually starting to feel better and am going to slowly start incorporating the gym again!
Random:
I am definitely at the point where it is clearly obvious that I am pregnant and not just packing on a few extra pounds ha. A girl at the gym told me I was so cute and I’m just guessing she was referring to my belly and not just me hahaha.
Jaime and I have been playing the babe music at night before bed and it just melts my heart.
I am so excited to see Jaime be a Dad. He’s going to be the best Dad ever <3
Love, Nicole B
