How Far Along: 33 Weeks & 5 days!
How Big is Baby: The size of a durian? I’m really not sure what that is haha.
17.20 inches & 4.23 ounces!
Movement: Tons of movement from this little nugget. Loving every second of it <3
Feeling: I feel pretty good actually! I started getting some braxton hicks contractions… I think ha. I’m not 100% sure because they are completely painless but I think that is what I am feeling! I’m so so tired all the time though. I could nap every couple hours haha!
Nursery Update: We had our baby shower yesterday and baby was so spoiled so the nursery is filling up now!
Working Out: Still doing my little 20 minute arm & squats workout a few times a week!
Sleep: Sleeping is getting harder. I miss the days when rolling from one side to the other was easy ha. Still waking up 1-2 times a night for the bathroom and waking multiple times a night needing water!
Birth Class: I’ve actually had two birth classes since my last post! Last week we learned about birth plans, induction, augmentation, monitoring, IV’s, pain medication, epidurals, 2nd stage interventions, and cesarean birth! This week was a birthing center tour, labor rehearsal (pretty much just practicing positions for contractions & learning the process), and postpartum recovery! Jaime and I actually are learning so much each class and would highly recommend them for any first time parents!
Appointments: We had our last doctor visit on the 12th.. Baby’s heartbeat was 150bpm! I am still measuring small according to the Fundal Height Measurement Test so we have another growth ultrasound next week to check on the little nugget. Last one came back normal and baby was in the 49th percentile for growth!
Fun Fact: Did you know that if you were in a coma and went into labor, that your body could deliver your baby for you? I think this is so so so interesting and incredible! I recently read a blog and found it to be really informative on tips for a natural birth. For anyone interested in reading it – https://www.simplelivingmommy.com/handled-pain-natural-childbirth/
Things are feeling so real. We get to meet our baby in roughly 6 weeks!
We can’t wait <3
Love,
Nicole B
