Almost 3 1/2 months later and I FINALLY took pictures of baby girl’s nursery!
I had a really hard time when I was pregnant deciding how to decorate the nursery when we didn’t know the gender. From the beginning I knew I didn’t want a gender neutral gray nursery… which is shocking because majority of my house is gray haha. After about 10 different nursery designs, we finally decided to design her nursery after our favorite place, Hawaii!
I ordered this rug as soon as we found out we had a sweet baby girl!
At my baby shower, everyone brought books and signed them rather than bringing a card! We have so many books with the sweetest messages and I can’t wait until we can read them all to Marina!
^The cutest Honest diapers!
I talked about Marina’s closet in one of my prior posts while I was pregnant. I wanted something that would be practical and give us the storage we needed rather than the standard closet bar. We removed the doors and purchased the cube storage at Menards. We stacked them on top of each other and then cut the clothing bar we had and attached it to the sides of the cubes! It was such a quick and easy project and I love how practical her closet is now!
My friend Heather and her Dad made this sign for Marina and it is one of my favorite parts of her nursery! <3I really love these Cuddle and Kind mermaids! They are hand knit dolls and each one purchased equals 10 meals to children in need! ^Double rocking chair so Jaime and I can both snuggle our girl and read her books! ALL THE BOWS <3 The Baby Becher pillow was given to us by our friends Maggie and Braeden and we love it so much! We picked out this flamingo stuffed animal for Marina when we went to the Henry Villas Zoo on Mother’s Day. I will always remember her first trip to the zoo and my first Mother’s day by this!We found this Shave Ice in Hawaii book while we were in Maui and I couldn’t resist! My friend Kate made this cute sign for Marina!
Marina’s nursery is such a happy space and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
Love,
Nicole B
