It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged. Life has been so busy with a 2 year old, an almost 1 year old, and a little babe on the way. This past October we snuck away for a little California getaway. Jaime and I have talked about going to California since we were planning our honeymoon back in 2016 and we always put it on the back burner for a different location. I spontaneously searched for flights back in May and came across roundtrip flights for my whole family for under $75 total.
Our family stayed at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. It was a beautiful resort with multiple pools and the girls had a blast in the splash pad and going down the slide endless times (even Elena). We spent most of our time outside the resort exploring and truly had the best week just the 4 of us (5 if you’re counting baby sister).
We visited Corona Del Mar State Beach, South Oceanside Beach, Marina Park Community & Sailing Center (this one was amazing for kids), Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Balboa Beach, and Treasure Island in Laguna Beach. Safe to say we spent majority of our time playing in the waves and building sand castles!
We also spent a full day down in San Diego at Sea World and spent an afternoon going to Downtown Disney.
