Sweet girl is the size of a Honeydew Melon and the countdown is on for her arrival! I documented almost every single week when pregnant with Marina and I think I’ve written less than 5 posts this time around… I guess that’s life with a toddler! I thought I’d take a minute and write up a little third trimester update! I can’t believe we are going to have two baby GIRLS soon! We are so ready to meet her and love her so much already!
Baby girls name is officially set and the embroidered items are packed and ready to go! It was so much harder finalizing a name this time around but I know this is the perfect name for our second girl.
Girlfriend is still measuring good and is healthy & so active. She loves to party at night and gets hiccups at least once a day! I am still getting pretty decent sleep, only waking up for the occasional bathroom run or drink of water. I do toss and turn throughout the night though because I am typically a stomach sleeper, I just can’t get on board with the side sleep thing!
Our hospital bags are packed and ready to go other than the last minute items we will throw in when labor starts! If I get around to it, I will make a post sharing what I packed for the second time around! Most of my free time has been spent napping, wrapping Christmas presents, and trying to figure out ways to get labor started ha!
My biggest craving this time around is root beer! Other than that, I eat mainly the same as before I was pregnant. The only difference is I get fuller way faster (probably because this babe is taking up all the room ha) so I eat a lot more snacks and a lot less during actual meal times.
I had my 37 week appointment yesterday and baby girl is measuring right on track and her heart rate was in the 130’s! Last week I was dilated 1cm and 60% effaced and this week I am dilated 1.5cm and 50% effaced, so we’re making some progress! We set an induction date of December 27th if she doesn’t come on her own before then, which means as of tomorrow we will be holding our baby girl in our arms in just TWO WEEKS! Send me all the tips on how to get this girl moving on her own ha.
Fingers crossed my next post is our newest little girlfriends birth announcement!
